CCAP hosts 32nd Annual Pasta for the Philippines
On Wednesday, January 29, the NDP community came together to celebrate the 32nd year of a special Christian Community Awareness Program (CCAP) tradition known as Pasta for the Philippines, which was started in 1993 by former Religion teacher, Mr. Jeff Goethals, and his wife, Felie. Students enjoyed both traditional Italian and Filipino-style pasta, a delicious fusion dish that blended flavors from both cultures.
The proceeds from this event support a lunch/nutrition program for Saint Louis School in Tuguegarao (Northern Luzon), Philippines, a school with a large population of deaf or hearing-impaired students. This program provides a nutritious meal and routine health checks to about 125 students each day. Thank you to all of our students in CCAP and the Asian Student Association (ASA), as well as members of our Social Service Office, for hosting this meaningful event.
