  • Interested in Visiting NDP?

Thank you for your interest in Notre Dame Preparatory School's Upper Level! For all inquiries related to visiting NDP, please call or email Mrs. Susan Muller, Admissions Database & Office Manager, at 410-825-6202 ext. 1013 or MullerS@notredameprep.com.
  • Application Fee

The application fee for the 2025–2026 school year is $50.
  • Submit School Transcripts

If your child attends a Catholic school within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, you will submit the Transcript Release Form (if the form is required by your school). The form can be found on your admissions portal checklist. Please submit that form as soon as possible as we require first semester grades to be submitted between November 1 and December 10.

NDP requires referrals from English and math teachers. If your daughter attends a public or independent private school, please submit the Common Referral Form to your school. That form can also be found on your admissions checklist.

NDP receives your daughters’ MAP (or other standardized test) scores for consideration during the admissions process. Test scores are just one piece considered by the committee as we understand students perform differently on such examinations.

  • Testing

All students applying to Catholic high schools are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This year, NDP will offer the test on campus December 7, 2024, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Students attending Catholic schools will take the test on December 4, 2024, during the school day.

The HSPT is a standardized, timed test. It contains five sections. The first two sections measure verbal and quantitative ability. The next three sections include questions related to reading comprehension, mathematics, and the components of written language. The HSPT questions are designed to test students at their curriculum level. Please view this flyer for more information about the HSPT.

  • After Enrolling

Soon after we receive your contract and deposit, someone from the Office of the Academic Dean will communicate with families concerning NDP internal placement testing. Enrolled students will test to determine phasing for their freshman year. That test is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 8 a.m.

Please Note: We understand some magnet schools do not offer admission for several days or weeks after our enrollment deadline of March 7. Unfortunately, we are unable to save space in the class without a contract and non-refundable deposit. If you choose to wait and not enroll by the March 7 deadline, and your family eventually decides NDP is the place for your daughter, she will be admitted if the class is not full.

Please let the Office of Admissions know if your school plans any celebrations (bus parades, car parades, etc.) for your graduating 8th grader. We would love to take part if allowed.
