Theatre

Each year, our Upper Level produces two full-length theatrical productions—a full-scale musical in the fall and a school play in spring. Additionally, our Middle Level students put on a musical in the winter in which students assume all performance and stage crew roles.

Major lighting renovations and a total redecoration of our Auditorium have provided unique opportunities for students interested in theatre production. Student stage and tech crews use our state-of-the-art 15K Lumen Laser Projector to create animated scenery for performances.

Our Performing Arts Department also offers a Theatre Experience elective for Upper Level students to explore improvisation and acting techniques, as well as technical theater and set design. In addition, NDP sponsors the Hampton Chapter of the International Thespian Society.
