Shanna Brady named Assistant Director of Athletics
After a highly competitive search, Notre Dame Preparatory School has named Shanna Brady as the new Assistant Director of Athletics, effective June 9, 2025.
Ms. Brady comes to NDP with a wealth of experience as an athletics director, coach, and Division I collegiate lacrosse player. Having most recently served as Director of Athletics at St. Timothy's School, an all-girls boarding and day school for grades 9–12 located in Stevenson, Maryland, she is deeply committed to the power of single-sex education for young women. Her combination of proven leadership, experience in the IAAM League, and commitment to youth sports will complement Blazer athletics, particularly Middle Level Athletics, which she will manage in her role.
"Throughout the interview process, Ms. Brady’s passion for athletics was notable, and she demonstrated a wonderful ability to connect with students," said Mr. Steven Powers, Director of Athletics. "I have no doubt that she will be a strong role model for our student-athletes at all levels and grades."
Prior to her role at St. Timothy’s, Ms. Brady served as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Penn State University, Towson University, and Hofstra University. As a college athlete, she was a four-year starter at the University of Maryland, where she was a two-time National Champion and a three-time ACC Champion in lacrosse. Ms. Brady graduated with a bachelor's degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland.
