Sister Patricia McCarron Named Recipient of The Daily Record's 2024 Icon Honors Award

We are excited to announce that Sister Patricia McCarron, SSND, Ph.D., Head of School, has been named a recipient of The Daily Record's 2024 Icon Honors Award. Established in 2017, this award celebrates outstanding Maryland leaders over the age of 60 who have significantly impacted their professions and the community through demonstrated success, exceptional leadership, active mentorship, and selfless service within and outside of their fields.

Sister Patricia, who is in her 20th year as Head of School at Notre Dame Prep, is among an esteemed group of 29 executives representing all professional sectors in Maryland, including government agencies, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Sister Patricia and her fellow Icon Honors awardees will be formally recognized at a reception on December 9. Please join us in congratulating our Head of School on this wonderful honor, one that recognizes what a superb job she does every day on behalf of Notre Dame Preparatory School and the entire NDP community!

To be eligible for Icon Honors, winners must have a long-standing commitment to the Maryland business community. Winners must also have a sustained commitment to community service and mentoring. They may be in the workforce or retired and must hold or have held senior management-level positions with significant authority in decision-making for their organization. The winners were selected by the editors of The Daily Record.
